ABOUT THE BRAND

Binky and Crumb began in the margins of my sketchbook, inspired by the odd little creatures lurking in medieval manuscripts and the illiterate monks who crafted them centuries ago. Those monks had a great sense of humor (love of dirty jokes).

I’m a painter and a college educator, with a love for art history, cheap jokes, and my little diva of black cat. I live on a small farming island outside Portland, Oregon, where Binky (bread gremlin) and Crumb (soup cat) came to life.

Now they roam freely across stickers, shirts, and merch for folks who appreciate little freaks and medieval nonsense. Thanks for being here, I hope something makes you laugh through your nose.
